Catus Subject 2: Wall Stalker

Exhibit A: A novice, only able to pop out of cardboard, for now.

Summary

This breed is infamous for being able to burrow itself into the walls of different structures. Their strength and versatility varies from cat to cat; some are able to move and hide in concrete walls while others, often more speedy variants prefer the ease of cardboard instead. It's often thought that these cats borrowed the technique from a beloved prey of theirs, mice, though not much research has been done on this technique's origin as of late.

Are they a threat?

There have so far been two notable attacks that are recorded carried out by this breed, but don't seem to be a big deal in grand scheme of things and shouldn't be the main priority of defenses as they don't appear often. If one is spotted, don't be afraid to take action as you are likely a target. Don't forget to report any sightings to us right here in the comments.

How can I be sure I'm safe from them?

As mentioned before they are a rare breed that have only seemed to appear within the last few decades, when urbanization hit a high, so you're not likely to be attacked by one. It wouldn't hurt to check your walls I suppose.

The signs of one tend to be:
  • Unexplained tears in the wall
  • Scratching that can be heard from within your walls
  • Terrible odors (Rodents may be killed if they are near the perpetrator)
If you come across any of these signs remain vigilant and don't lower your guard.
